Last Update: July 10, 2026

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how AKHIM LLC (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects personal information when you use the Dahim mobile application (the “App”), the website www.akhimllc.com, and related services. AKHIM LLC is a Wyoming limited liability company, with the following contact details: L NOURA, SOLE MBR, 30 N GOULD ST STE N, SHERIDAN, WY 82801, United States, support@akhimllc.com.

Dahim is a faith-centered wellness app dedicated to Muslims and includes features such as nasheed, soundscapes, silent motivation letters, a mood tracker, a custom journal, authentic and custom duas, and a community talk section. 4. Sensitive and Wellness-Related Data

Some information processed through Dahim may be considered sensitive personal data or health-related information, especially mood tracker entries, journal entries that reveal mental or emotional states, and faith-related data entered by users.

Dahim treats mood tracker entries, journals, and related personal reflections with elevated care. This information is not sold to data brokers and is not used for third-party advertising or cross-context behavioral targeting.

If you choose to post personal reflections in the talk section, those posts become visible to other users according to the feature settings. You should not post highly sensitive information publicly.

5. How We Use Information

We use personal information for the following purposes:

  • To create and manage your account.

  • To provide App features, including journal storage, mood tracking, duas, soundscapes, and community features.

  • To personalize your in-app experience, such as saved content, preferences, and recommendations.

  • To provide customer support and respond to inquiries.

  • To monitor app stability, prevent fraud, debug errors, and improve performance.

  • To moderate the talk section and enforce community rules.

  • To comply with legal obligations and protect rights, safety, and security.

We do not use your journal entries or mood tracker content for third-party advertising.

6. Legal Bases for Processing

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), Switzerland, or the United Kingdom, we process your personal data only where we have a valid legal basis, including:

  • Contract: when processing is necessary to provide the App and requested services to you.

  • Legitimate interests: when processing is necessary for security, fraud prevention, service improvement, moderation, and internal analytics, provided those interests are not overridden by your rights.

  • Consent: where required, including for optional communications, certain tracking technologies, or where you choose to provide optional sensitive information for particular uses.

  • Legal obligation: where processing is necessary to comply with applicable law.

Where special-category data under GDPR is implicated, such as information revealing religious beliefs or health-related wellness data, we rely on your explicit consent or another applicable lawful exception under Article 9 of the GDPR.

7. Sharing of Information

We may share personal information only as described below:

  • Service providers: with vendors who help us operate the App, such as hosting providers, analytics providers, crash reporting tools, content moderation providers, customer support tools, and email services, under contractual protections.

  • Payment processors and app stores: for subscriptions, purchases, refunds, and billing administration.

  • Legal and safety disclosures: when required by law, subpoena, court order, or to protect rights, security, and users.

  • Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate safeguards.

  • With your direction: where you choose to share content publicly in the talk section or otherwise instruct us to share data.

We do not sell personal information, including journal content, mood entries, or faith-related content, to third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.

8. Talk Section and User-Generated Content

The talk section allows users to post content and interact with others. Information you post there is visible to other users and may be copied, shared, or retained by them, even after deletion from the App.

We use automated tools and human review to moderate the talk section, investigate abuse reports, and enforce community guidelines. We reserve the right to remove content or suspend users who violate applicable rules, law, or the rights of others.

Users should avoid posting:

  • Sensitive health or emotional details they do not want others to see.

  • Financial data, passwords, or identity documents.

  • Personal data of other people without their explicit permission.

9. Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including to provide the App, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and maintain security.

Retention periods vary by data type:

  • Account information: retained while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward as needed for legal, security, and operational purposes.

  • Journal entries, mood logs, saved duas, and other private content: retained until you delete them, request deletion, or your account is closed, subject to limited backup and legal retention periods.

  • Talk section posts and moderation records: retained as needed to operate the community, investigate abuse, and enforce rules.

  • Technical logs and diagnostics: retained for shorter intervals unless required for active security investigations or legal compliance.

Where possible, information is aggregated or anonymized so it no longer identifies you, and that anonymized information may be retained indefinitely for analytics and product improvement.

10. International Transfers

Dahim is operated by a U.S. company, and your information may be processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate. Those countries may not provide the exact same level of data protection as your home jurisdiction.

We implement appropriate safeguards for international transfers, such as standard contractual clauses with vendors and technical security measures designed to protect data integrity. Users in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland may contact us for more information about these transfer safeguards.

Requests are handled in strict accordance with the laws applicable to your state of residence.

Dahim does not sell personal information and does not process journal or mood tracker content for cross-context behavioral advertising.

13. Children’s Privacy

Dahim is not directed to children under 13, and personal information is not knowingly collected from children under 13. If personal information from a child under 13 is discovered without legally valid authorization, it will be deleted immediately. Parents or guardians may contact support@akhimllc.com regarding any children’s data concerns.

14. Security

We implement appropriate administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

15. Health Breach and Incident Response

If Dahim experiences an unauthorized disclosure or unauthorized access affecting identifiable wellness or health-related information, we will provide notifications to affected users and regulatory bodies as required by applicable laws, including the FTC Health Breach Notification Rule where applicable.

16. Third-Party Services

The App may link to or integrate with third-party services, websites, or tools. Those third parties operate under their own privacy policies and terms, and AKHIM LLC is not responsible for their independent privacy practices. All operational SDKs, analytics tools, and authentication tools used in Dahim are disclosed consistently with our app store presence.

17. Changes to This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time to reflect changes in the App, legal requirements, or company practices. When updates occur, the “Last Update” date will be revised at the top of this page, and material updates will be signaled via an in-app alert or email notice.
