Delete Your Account
We take your data and privacy seriously. This page provides a simple, direct way to permanently delete your Dahim account and all associated data.
Method 1: Delete via the App (Recommended)
The easiest way to delete your account is directly from the Dahim app:
Open Dahim App
Launch the app on your iOS or Android device.
Go to Settings
Tap the gear icon (⚙️) in the bottom-right corner.
Account Settings
Select « Account » or « Account Settings » from the menu.
Delete Account
Scroll to the bottom and tap « Delete Account » or « Remove My Account. »
Confirm Deletion
Read the confirmation message and tap « Yes, delete permanently. »
Complete
Your account will be deleted immediately. All your data will be permanently removed within 30 days.
Method 2: Delete via Web Form
If you don’t have access to the app, you can request account deletion here:
Email: support@dahim.app
Send an email with:
- Your Dahim account email address
- Subject: « Account Deletion Request »
What Gets Deleted
When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed:
- Your profile information (name, email, phone number)
- Your personal journal entries and private notes
- Your subscription and payment history
- Your preferences and settings
- Your account activity and usage logs
- Any saved content or favorites
Deletion Timeline
Within 7 days: All personal data is deleted from our active servers.
Within 30 days: All backup copies are purged. Deletion is complete.
Legal & Compliance
In certain cases, we may retain limited information for legal reasons:
- Legal obligations: If required by law, we keep records for tax, audit, or regulatory compliance.
- Payment records: Transaction history is retained for financial reporting (not personally linked to you).
- Abuse prevention: Anonymous records may be kept to prevent fraud or abuse.
